Dear American Society of Naturalists community,

We are looking for a postdoc to serve as a member of the symposium organizing committee for the Third Joint Congress of Evolutionary Biology meetings in 2024. The committee consists of two representatives from each of the four societies organizing the meeting: the American Society of Naturalists (ASN), the Society for the Study of Evolutionary Biology (SSE), the Society of Systematic Biologists (SSB), and the European Society of Evolutionary Biology (ESEB). This person will participate fully in the evaluation of symposium proposals and the selection of accepted symposia for the congress. The position is an exciting opportunity to interact with international colleagues, represent the interests of ASN early career researchers on the committee, and help shape the schedule for the 2024 congress, which occurs once every six years. We note that the post will involve a significant time commitment because the committee will be evaluating and deciding on over 100 proposals. You must be a postdoc during the years 2023 and 2024 to apply.
